The ACE enzyme in your body regulates blood pressure
The blood pressure lowering effect of PreCardix is due to its content of bioactive peptides holding an inhibitory effect to a molecule called Angiotensin Converting Enzyme, or ACE. ACE is an enzyme we all carry in our body and which is necessary for the regulation of blood pressure. But sometimes it is just too much of ACE, and the body needs help to downregulate the ACE.
Angiotension II causes blood pressure to rise
In the body, the ACE converts a molecule called Angiotensin I to a new molecule called Angiotensin II. Angiotensin II causes blood vessels constriction, the body to absorb more water and sodium, and an increase in the body’s sympathetic activity (i.e., stress). All are causing the blood pressure to rise.
Bioactive peptides in PreCardix have ACE inhibiting effect
The bioactive peptides in PreCardix are working to inhibit the ACE. By inhibiting ACE, it also inhibits the creation of Angiotensin II and consequently the abnormal rise in blood pressure. For people with healthy blood pressure, PreCardix will not bring the blood pressure below healthy levels. PreCardix will only help to maintain normal blood pressure or lower elevated blood pressure towards healthy levels.
